Everyone says they're truthful, loving, caring, fun, optimistic, and all the rest...so should I say the same thing? I think that once your heart is involved in a relationship, too many people throw them out like trash without trying their best to work out any bumps in the road, or weather the storm.

That said, I'm in my mid-40's, divorced, no children at home, and no friends or family in the area, so I'd love to meet some people to go do fun things with, and hopefully make some great friends and even more hopefully, meet the ONE man with whom to share my future rainbows.

I love to cook, travel, love pets but especially dogs, love children (wish I'd had more), love God and country. I own a gun and like to target shoot. I'm not materialistic or arrogant, but I do enjoy nice things but I don't believe someone should 'rob Peter to pay Paul.'

I'm back in school to finally become a Registered Nurse (my life's calling) and I'm relocatable, so please don't let wherever I am stop you from considering getting to know me. Once I get settled somewhere, I'll stay for awhile, but for now I haven't found my place. LOL ;)

I've never been arrested (don't plan to be) and my biggest mistake in life has been trusting others "stupidly." I'd rather be trusting and believing even if/when I get hurt, than to be hard and cold-hearted. I'd just like to find a man who treasures my heart that I give him, and would never break it...like I will treasure his.

I used to be a lot bigger...and lost over 100 pounds about 12 years ago (almost died). I'll always be a bit on the large side, "fluffy" as I like to say (LOL) so if you're looking for Barbie, keep looking.

Trust is easily given, but once it's broken, if it can be rebuilt, it takes a little time, and a lot of effort. Life's too short, and as far as I know we only go around once, so I'd prefer to make memories and have fun.

If you contact me, please be REAL, and I'd rather have brutal honesty (even when it stings) than to have lies and a lack of trust. Please no felons, parolees, con-men, flakes/losers, drug addicts, alcoholics or smokers.

I like who I am but I'm always looking to learn and improve along the way. I'm VERY open-minded and will try just about anything once, maybe twice.
