As you can probably tell from my pictures, I'm not your normal lady, I'm a very active outdoors person. You will usually find me in jeans, but I do like to dress up for that someone special too. Two of my biggest passions are to hunt and fish. My favorite fishing spot is Alaska...and I go there as often as I can, the place has bitten me, and I can't seem to stay away...it's also where I shot my trophy moose in 1999. I enjoy spending time on the water boating; and camping...whether it is in a tent, in my truck camper or in a cottage. I am very active in volunteering for local conservation organizations, which also includes getting youth involved in the outdoors, and I take kids (and sometimes adults too!) pheasant hunting with my dogs. I do love to travel, and I usually go to Florida for spring break. Another of my pastimes I love, is NASCAR, I camp in the infield at both Michigan races, and usually get to at least one other race a year...GO JR!!!

I own my own home on the river, and love to spend lots of time there, whether it is in the garden, out on the river, or playing with my dogs. I have a huge garden, and I share my veggies with my family and friends. Even though I'm a very active person, I do enjoy relaxing at home in front of the TV in the evening. I am a self confident, independent, honest, outgoing, upbeat and reliable person. I've been told I look young for my age...I've been blessed with good genes! It has been a very trying time for me physically the last couple years starting with fracturing my shoulder at work, then successfully battling breast cancer, then to fracturing and dislocating my ankle last winter and now I'm dealing with a torn meniscus in my knee. It has really slowed me down but I'm not out of it by any means.

The man I would like to grow old with, with must be respectful, faithful, loving, affectionate and not afraid to get his hands dirty and of course love the outdoors. Although I can do just about anything myself, I love to have someone do things for me...or even with me! You must not be intimidated by a by a confident self sufficient woman. You must love dogs, as mine are very important to me. They are very friendly and I think they would love to have you around too!
