I've found the love of my life, and yes, I found her on CM. I'm always happy to chat and reply to emails, and I'll stay here for a bit because I've met so many nice people. I am no longer searching for my life partner though. I found her.



If you really want to know about me, you'll have to ask lots of questions. I'm not overly complicated, but neither am I so gifted with the written word that I can manage to give you a glimpse of who I truly am in just a few paragraphs. If improving one's character is supposed to be a journey that lasts a lifetime, then trying to describe your character in these things is also something that seems to last a lifetime.



I live a fairly quiet life and that's as much by choice as it is circumstance. If you need someone to take you out 4 nights a week to feel like you're enjoying yourself, seek elsewhere. I'm not cheap, but I just don't see why spending a weekend at home reading a good book is such a bad thing now and then.



Music for me is a near religious experience at times. Sometimes I think I feel closest to heaven when I have my music playing.



If I come off seeming like I'm mad at the world here, that's really not the case. I really am a pretty laid back person. I just don't waste any of my time justifying who I am to others. I'm an okay person, and I don't have to force others to know it to be okay with myself.



A few random things about me...



Just because I compliment you, that doesn't mean I'm trying to get in your good graces. A well spoken and nicely worded profile introduction on here is more impressive to me than a few nice photos. If I come across a profile I think is unique and fun to read, I'll send you a compliment regaurdless of whether or not you're my type or vice versa. Compliments shouldn't only be used with people you know or when you stand to gain from them.



I'm firmly convinced that coffee belongs on the top 10 list of things that make life worth living.



I love a good red wine, but I'd rather be shot in the head than have to endure some wine tasting event filled with snooty people. On the other hand, if it's got a metal screw top lid or comes in a box, it's not actually wine in my book. lol



I believe Hockey is likely the only sport on TV worth watching. And then, only sometimes. Well... that and the Tour de France.



I'm not an animal lover, but neither would I ever condone the purposeful mistreatment of an animal.
