I'm a Libra and we like life in balance with harmony and without a lot of arguments. I am assertive not aggressive, not controlling and I don't want to be controlled. I'm a very open person willing to commuicate about anything and I like to provide details so people know exactly what I'm thinking. In my experience, ambiguity leads to misunderstanding and potential problems in a relationship. I'm very patient, a good teacher and I work and play well with others. I enjoy doing things for people and in the past I have actually given the shirt off my back to a friend but I am not a doormat. I always wanted someone to take care of when necessary and desired genuine appreciation for my efforts and reciprocation at those rare times it's needed.



I spent the first forty years of my life in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. My parents are deceased and I have no siblings. I left the rest of my family behind when I moved to Arizona and am content to visit on vacations, by email or by phone. I was raised by a Conservative father who was an avid outdoorsman/hunter. While I don't hunt anymore, I do have an AZ CCW and carry a gun 16 hours a day and 7days a week when I am in AZ. I would love to meet a woman who is also pro-gun and either has an AZ CCW or would want to get one. I also attend firearms related classes at Glendale Community College and it would be nice if my significant other would want to participate in that activity occasionally.



I'm always told I look ten years younger than my age and for now, I don't need to color my hair. I exercise a lot so I have a flat stomach and always will. I wear size 32-34 cargo pants because I won't carry a purse. One of my bedrooms has been converted into a home gym with a weight bench, free weights and an exercise machine. On weekends, I walk the dog for two miles and then ride my bicycle. I'm not a night person anymore so I like to get up very early in the summer to get the outside exercising/work done before it gets really hot. I feel it important to add that I really need someone who also exercises, watches what they eat and maintains a trim figure.



I've always been a nonconformist who doesn't follow the crowd. I'm a lot like the character Tim Allen portrayed in the sitcom "Home Improvement" however, I'm not accident prone. I spend my weekdays doing home renovations or working on my latest writing project when my muse inspires me. I have two associate degrees from Milwaukee Area Technical College in Business Management and Printing and Publishig Operations. I also have a certificate in Desktop Publishing and worked in the Printing Industry when I was in Wisconsin. While I like to laugh and tell silly jokes, I won't make a joke at someone else's expense. Sitcoms are my favorite for TV viewing because I like to laugh. I like to think that other people see me as a funny guy who doesn't take life too seriously.



In the past, I have traveled the state on weekends with my dog in my van. I have done van camping because I don't like tents but would rather rent a motel room for the shower. Some favorite destinations include Sedona, Flagstaff, Grand Canyon, Page/Lake Powell, Show Low. I don't need a GPS because I know how to read a map and use one when traveling to new places. I always read the instructions before assembling something and I always leave the toilet seat down.



I am self-supporting, self-sufficient I can cook, do housework and even sew when I have to so I don't need a housekeeper but I would
